Logan, Karlyn's older sister, has been Karlyn's hero and role model her entire life. From moving to new states and starting new schools together to letting Karlyn crash every time a friend came over to hangout as the annoying little sister, Logan has been a constant, supportive pillar in Karlyn's life. 

Our family likes to joke that without Karlyn, Logan would be boring; without Logan, Karlyn would be in jail. So, we all have Logan to thank for keeping Karlyn out of trouble and into Matt's life.

Whimsical, Colorful, Funky, Vintage: wear what you love

THEMEOur theme, fitting for the venue, is " Woodland Whimsy" with a nod towards our shared fascination of medieval art, colors, history, and music. Please hold your eyebrow raises— we promise we won't make our guests duel it out to the death. This theme will be expressed through our decorations—not swords and lances.We do want to note that this wedding is kid-friendly ( and encouraged!), and we will have yard games and a bonfire for use. We understand that being a parent trumps fashion, so please wear what you need to knowing that the younger kids may want to run around in the grass and play some cornhole. We want everyone to have a good time—Ladies, if that means wearing tennis shoes under your dress so you can run after little ones, please do so. Gentlemen, if wearing denim with your jacket works best to avoid getting your dress pants dirty from your kid's dirty shoes, please do so.

See below for our outfit inspo gallery!Wear what makes you comfortable and confident, just be sure to make it FABULOUS, honey!We do request that you wear your most beautiful, bold outfits and add some whimsy: Flowy maxi dresses, billowing sleeves and floral prints, silky strapless dresses, sparkly jumpsuits, or linen sundresses. If there is a vintage piece of jewelry or jacket hanging in your closet waiting to be worn, please let it be for this wedding! There are no colors off-limits (except for white), we just want everyone to feel and look their best, whatever that means to them.We will be in a beautiful, picturesque "valley" in a woodsy, rural part of Wisconsin just about 7 miles from the Mississippi River. The venue is 100% grass, so be mindful of that when picking your shoes (wedges or wide heels may be the way to go—opt in for a flat or cute sneaker if that's what makes you comfiest to dance the night away!).Because the spring season is notoriously unpredictable in the Midwest, please track the weather leading up to the day so you can plan to bring a cardigan, sweater, or shawl if it's chilly.WEAR THOSE COLORS AND PRINTS! WEAR THOSE ECLECTIC ACCESSORIES &lt;3

Ties are optional, but may be a fun way to add a pop of color or match with your date (bolo ties are a plus!). Fun socks are encouraged! Both of us love to nerd out, so if you have any socks laying around of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or your favorite movie or shows please wear those! Linens can be great when you're busting up the dance floor and need some breathable fabric, and a funky vintage jacket goes a long way.Please, WEAR THOSE COLORS AND PATTERNS and WEAR THEM BOLDLY! &lt;3

For regional flights, <a href="https://flyrst.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rochester International Airport (RST)</a> in Rochester, MN and<a href="https://www.chippewavalleyairport.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> Chippewa Valley Regional Airport (EAU)</a> in Eau Claire, WI are the closest options.RST is approximately a 1.25 hour drive to the venue in Pepin, and EAU is approximately a 1 hour drive to the venue in Pepin.

Airports for Major Airline Connections

For those traveling a bit further than those of us in the Midwest, flying into <a href="https://www.mspairport.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)</a> is the closest option. MSP is approximately a 1.5 hour drive to the venue in Pepin.
